Dane’s insatiable appetite for knowledge and unrelenting curiosity, combined with his six years as a consultant, a decade as a CFO, and a quarter-century as a CEO, has culminated in the creation of an exhaustive leadership framework. In 2020, he introduced Impactful Leadership, a model that revolves around three pivotal pillars essential for leaders to master: being disciplined, driving change, and hands-on practicality. Dane’s comprehensive methodology goes beyond theory, offering practical frameworks and templates that empower leaders to authentically express their unique leadership styles and make a profound impact.  As a result of his expertise, Dane has become the preferred coach for top Venture Capital and Private Equity funds in Southeast Asia, sought after to nurture and develop their founders and CEOs.

In 2022, Dane expanded his reach by embarking on a journey as a keynote speaker, leveraging his extensive experience and the impactful leadership content he has meticulously crafted.

Throughout his career, Dane has held pivotal executive roles, including Senior Vice President and Chief of Finance and Development for Yum Restaurants International (NYSE-listed owners of KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut), CEO of ASX-listed Australian Vintage (one of Australia’s largest wine companies), and Regional CEO of ISS Asia Pacific (one of the world’s largest facility services providers), overseeing a workforce of over 200,000 employees across Asia Pacific.

Dane’s passion for continuous learning is evident in his educational background, which includes a Bachelor of Engineering from Sydney University and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York. He has completed the Executive Management Program at Stanford Business School and earned certification as a director from the Australian Institute of Directors (GAIDC).  Furthermore, he is an accredited executive coach from the Hult Ashridge Executive Education school in the UK. In October 2022, he was recognized by global coaching organization EMCC as a Senior Practitioner, one of the highest coaching levels attainable. Dane’s commitment to personal growth extends to his graduation from the Hoffman Process and his more than two decades of membership in the global CEO organization, YPO.

Arguably more important than his success in business, is that Dane has been married for more than thirty-five years and is the proud father of three accomplished daughters, who are all well progressed on their own careers while maintaining a balanced approach to life and relationships.
